Since this is a professional formulation, there are several ways to parse the usage and rates. Our recommendation is to apply two applications in spring for crabgrass, known as “split applications” and each of those should be .183oz/1000 sq ft (5.2g).
Apply 1.6 to 2 pints of this product (0.8 to 1 lb. a.i.) per acre in the late Fall when the crop is well established. The application should be timed to coincide with the start of the Winter rainfall period to control germinating annual weeds. A second application at the rate of 1.6 to 2 pints of this product (0.8 to 1 lb. a.i.) per acre can be made in the Spring just after the last cultivation.
